Kale Chips

Microwave Kale chips. These babies just got ten times better.

Ingredients:
1 cup kale, washed and dried // salt to taste // pepper (optional) OR nutritional yeast (optional)

Method:
Pop the kale and seasoning (feel free to use different spices or even cashew cheese!) into a microwave safe bowl, microwave on high for 3 minutes, taking it out every 30s to toss about in the bowl. Keep an eye on it the first time, as all microwaves vary, and burnt kale is a no-no. In my microwave, it took me about 3.5 minutes to get in crisp and i took them out at 30-20s intervals.

    1. Yes! as long as you use a ceramic bowl and not plastic, microwaves actually help to retain nutrients due to their short cooking time :) it's a win win!
