Hi there! I am Sasha. I am terrible at introductions (and even worse at NOT finishing all the granola in my house). But let's give it a shot:

I am a 21 22-year-old medical student at the University of Oxford. I started this blog way back in 2014, after deciding to become vegan. It was the only new years' resolution to myself I have ever kept, and I am pretty damn happy about it.  I know, I know. I hear you. Another vegan blog? Yes, but not really. This blog isn't all kale salads and smoothie bowls (although if that is your thing, go for it). I am, and have always been, a big foodie. I love cooking kooky, inventive food. I grew up in the kitchen, back home in Singapore, and I like to think that has rubbed off on my cooking a lot. There is nothing that can't be elevated with a pinch of cardamom (not entirely true, but still...).

I recipe test and post on Instagram in between ward rounds and (freezing cold) lecture theaters. It keeps me busy and well fed (you burn a lot of calories shivering in a cold lecture theater BTW) (truth). I have a passion for crazy tea flavours, glittery things, anything spicy, and the excessive use of brackets when I type (surely you've noticed?).

I have been lucky enough to collaborate and work with some pretty cool people, from BOSH and Vegan Food and Living magazine, to brands like Daniel Wellington and Sage by Heston Blumenthal. It's so much fun, and I promise I genuinely adore every brand I do work with.

I have actually been working on a book (whoooo), which is scheduled to be published in 2019 with Murdoch. So, watch this space.
